Here's a logo kit that a newly-formed LSA can use to create everything from letterhead, to a Website, to branded banners and t-shirts.

👋 Quick Introduction

One wonderful tradition within Bahá’í administrative life is that when 9 Bahá’ís move into an area without an established spiritual assembly, it’s up to them to form a board and declare one. There is a lot to do — organizing Feasts, organizing treasuries, managing libraries, running elections and sending delegates to world conventions.

Honestly, making a logo is probably the least of one’s concerns. This is why I made a set of free, logo templates which are modern, simple, and configurable. Feel free to use and change as needed.

They are editable with any vector editing software, including Adobe Acrobat! All of these logos are also scalable to fit longer and more complicated placenames, or shrunk for smaller placenames.

Finally, this logo comes shipped with pre-designated PANTONE colors to make life easier during the print reproduction process. These are detailed in LSA Branding Kit Report.txt.

🚅 Quickstart Guide

To get started, you will need vector graphics editing software. This can come in the shape of the professional-level Adobe Illustrator, to less expensive paid tools like Affinity Designer, all the way to very competent and free tools like macSVG and Inkscape.

Make sure you have the fonts in /Fonts/ installed in your system’s font directory. For Windows, Mac and Linux, you can usually just double click the file and hit ‘Install’. If there’s any issue, Google might be your best bet.

Finally, open up LSA Branding.ai, then make your edits, and export to common file formats like PNG, SVG, and JPEG.

PNG files are your best bet nearly 99% of the time, especially if you want a transparent background. SVG is less supported, but it is a format which can scale or shrink and not lose any quality.
